As a kid, I had this dream of owning my own personal F1 car when I grew up. I’d use it as my daily driver, and drive it as fast as possible everywhere I went. That dream remains nestled in the whimsical world of my childhood imagination, but I obviously know it’s mostly impossible. Perhaps that’s why I’ve gravitated toward cycling, the only wheeled sport where it’s relatively easy to own and use the exact same (sometimes better) equipment that the world’s best riders use. This Felt IA FRD is exactly that. Available for sale is a bike worthy of a world-class athlete. In fact, it’s a bike previously owned by an actual world class athlete, that you can actually own and ride.

As a superstitious connoisseur of used bikes, I’m always drawn to the aura that former pro bikes seem to possess. This IA’s previous owner, Emma-Kate Lidbury, is a professional triathlete who races on the Ironman and Ironman 70.3 triathlon circuits around the world, with multiple victories, podiums and two-top 10 finishes at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships.

With that sort of good juju, the IA is sure to be a dominating race weapon. It’ll also definitely set itself apart from the rest of the field with its custom red, white, and blue, paint job and high-end build.

The bike has ENVE’s deepest aero wheels, the SES 8.9, which feature different front and rear profiles to help you cheat the wind. Shifting is handled by Shimano’s electronic Dura-Ace Di2 Gruppo, which provides seamless and precise shifting, with blip shifters on both the bar ends and the brake levers.

This Felt IA FRD is a no-compromise time trial/triathlon bike, built so pros can win races. What’s truly special about it though is that you don’t have to be a pro, a winner, or even a racer to take it home and ride it whenever you like.

This 2016 Felt IA FRD will be available for sale soon at our shop.
