Cervélo might not be commonly associated with gravel, but the Aspero is the kind of bike expected from a company known for making light, stiff, aero road, and TT bikes. The Aspero is light, stiff, and aerodynamic, with a low bottom bracket for added control.
2021 Cervélo Aspero - Pricing, Weight, Specs
Cervélo Aspero Apex 1 Gravel Bike (51cm) | |||
MSRP | Weight | Drivetrain | Wheel Size |
$2,700 | 20lbs 1oz | SRAM Apex 1 (1x11) | 400x42mm |
Being Cervélo, there are several nifty features included on the frame. First is the ability to run 700x42mm or 650x 49mm tires. The Aspero can maintain nearly constant steering regardless of wheel size, thanks to 5mm offset flip chips on the fork. Cervélo skipped their general preference for proprietary cockpit components for a round 27.2mm seatpost, so users could have the option to run a dropper post. Likewise, one can run any set of bars and stems.
