Dreaming of Cowbells

Why We Love It
Foundry loved cyclocross. Since they are no longer making bikes, we love when we can get our hands on one and find a new owner that will keep this brand name out on the road. Foundry made these bikes tough and ready to race. The Valmont and its very close racing partner, the Camrock, came out at the same time taking the place of what was called the Harrow. These bikes are full fledged cyclocross race horses that get riled-up at the sound of a cowbell or the smell of a bacon hand-off. The Valmont and Camrock share the same geometry, but the Valmont features both front and rear thru-axles, while the Camrock uses quick-release disc (with a slightly different Whisky carbon fork). They also came in some different colors, so if you aren't picky about the axle type, maybe the color differences will help you pick! We're pretty fond of these bikes probably because Valmont Bike park is just down the road from TPC and many of us are from Wisconsin (coincidentally) where we've spent a lot of time riding the popular Camrock trail system! Nice naming, Foundry!
Master Mechanic’s Notes
  • Light scratches on the crank arms & seatpost
  • Light scratches on the fork lowers, down tube, drive side seatstay, & chainstays
