Started in 1985 by Hollywood set builder John Parker, a larger-than-life figure, Yeti was perfect for an era when fun and innovation went hand-in-hand. Yeti built aluminum bikes before it was cool, and were working out full-suspension kinks before most of their competitors were ready to squish. A small company with a huge racing pedigree, Yeti has won World Championships and World Cups in both cross-country and downhill. While Yeti is no longer managed by Parker, Yeti Cycles retains his spirit.

Yeti’s bikes fit across the spectrum; at least one will meet your desires. If you’re more interested in going up, going down, or balancing the two, there’s a ride that’s right. They’ve even just released an e-bike. All bikes are fabricated out of carbon fiber and come in one of two grades, Carbon or Turq, the latter being lighter and stiffer. Where are Yeti MTBs made?
Yeti mountain bikes are designed and assembled in Golden, Colorado, USA. Yeti Cycles has been headquartered there since 1995. Some parts are sourced from various locations globally, but the final assembly and quality control happen in Golden. This contributes to their well-deserved reputation for American-made, high-performance mountain bikes.
Do Yeti bikes have a lifetime warranty?
Yes, Yeti offers a limited lifetime warranty on all frames from 2019 onwards, including the Switch Infinity link, covering damage due to manufacturing defects for the original purchaser. The warranty includes repair or replacement at Yeti's discretion. However, there are some conditions: the bike must be registered online at YetiCycles.com/registration and taken to an authorized Yeti Cycles dealer for processing. The warranty does not cover damage from wear and tear, neglect, or intentional destruction.
Are Yetis high quality?
Yes. Yeti bikes are considered the equal of any top MTB bike brand. Yeti bikes are praised by riders for their good customer support, quality construction, and unique suspension design. Their bikes are largely designed, assembled, and made in the USA.
