The Trek Remedy is a long-travel trail platform that emphasizes the fun of riding. Climb anywhere, and then rip the descent. The Remedy has been Trek’s cure since 2006. Originally in aluminum and 26” wheels with 150mm of travel, it has grown over the years to include OCLV carbon models.

Wheels have gotten bigger as well; in 2014, both 29” and 27.5” arrived, going all-in on 27.5” in 2017. Boost spacing was added, allowing room for wider tires to provide better traction and let more hang out. Another tuning component is Trek’s Mino Link design, their “flip chip.” The Mino allows the rider to raise or lower the bottom bracket and relax/steepen the head tube angle by 0.5 degrees. Later designs allow for long dropper posts.
