This time of year, there are fewer races, events, and group rides to join. If you’re like me, the motivation to ride your bike is starting to wane. So let's inject a bit of excitement back into cycling with some absurd deals! 

The End-of-Season Sale is when we start clearing out the stale inventory that didn’t find a good home during the spring or summer. There’s a lot of great gear on sale, but let’s focus on some of the big ticket items — bikes and wheels — because these are going for some of the lowest prices I've ever seen.

2022 Cannondale SuperSix EVO 105 Road Bikes

I loved this iteration of the Cannondale SuperSix EVO when I rode it back in 2020. Now we have a bunch of leftover demos from 2022. It’s an all-rounder carbon road bike with Shimano 105 for under $1,700. It’s a great rig for aspiring racers on a budget. 

2022 Bianchi Arcadex Gravel Bikes

Need a carbon gravel bike for someone under 5’2? Is their budget less than $2,000? May I present the Bianchi Arcadex. These are brand new from Bianchi, and with a Shimano GRX 800 1x group, I think they’re an amazing deal! 

2024 Orbea Terra H30 Gravel Bikes

What’s the best beginner gravel bike? People keep asking me and I keep pointing them toward the Orbea Terra H30. We have a bunch of sizes available, they have solid Shimano GRX 800 builds, and I think the paint jobs look great. You can’t do much better with a brand new bike at this price point! 

2022 Giant Trance / Liv Intrigue Mountain Bikes

I bought one for my wife already. I can’t believe we’re selling bikes with FOX’s super-fancy electronic Live Valve suspension system this cheap. It locks and opens your suspension automatically on climbs and descents so you can focus on riding. These came from Giant/Liv’s demo fleet, so they’ve been expertly maintained. I’d almost buy a Trance for myself just to poach the suspension. 

2022 Cervelo Aspero Gravel Bike and 2023 Cervelo ZHT-5 Mountain Bike

I like Cervelos. I like both of these Cervelos A LOT. I like that they’re matching colors. They’re both solid builds with decent mid-range components. They’re both my preferred size. They’re both seriously affordable. I’m so tempted… 

2023 3T Exploro RaceMax Gravel Bikes

I couldn’t ignore these 3T Exploro RaceMax bikes! You get an aero carbon frame, a SRAM Apex XPLR AXS drivetrain, and the reliable Fulcrum Rapid Red alloy wheels that took me to my first Unbound finish in 2022.
