Why We Love It
Not too far down the road from us is a small group of passionate and talented folks hand-making bikes with the name ""Alchemy"" on the frame. Using a variety of materials, these bikes are tediously crafted to deliver top shelf offerings in their respective categories.

The Arktos family is their carbon full suspension line-up. These bikes all feature ""Sine Suspension"", which does an excellent job getting rid of most of that pesky pedal-bob (bounce while pedaling - which wastes the energy you put into your pedaling). The Arktos 135 features 135mm of rear suspension for a super capable all mountain ride. Though, one of the neatest features of this platform is the flip chip integration. The flip chip on this bike allows you to adjust geometry to quickly transform your Arktos 135 into the 120 or even the 150 with Alchemy's conversion kit. This allows you to own a fast down-country bike and a mega-capable and burly enduro bike with swapping a few parts. While this does require some extra investment, it's significantly cheaper than owning 2 or 3 different bikes. Kudos, Alchemy! The Arktos 135 will ride well set up with 29er front and back or mix it up with a 27.5"" wheel in the back for that sweet mullet style!
Master Mechanic’s Notes
  • Light scratches on the seat tube & drive side seatstay
  • Light scratches on the crank arms & rear derailleur
