The Alfa balances its light weight with high stiffness for efficient power transfer.
Its flat-backed riding position allows for quick and responsive steering changes, meaning you can navigate tight corners with confidence and agility. Plus, the frame has a claimed weight of 875g and a fork weight of 325g, so you won't feel weighed down on climbs or during sprints. With six sizes available – two standard and four 'plus' fits – every rider should be able to find a comfortable fit on the Alfa.
The 'plus' versions offer an extra 2cm of head tube height for a more relaxed setup, while disc brake models allow up to 35mm tires for maximum grip over all terrain. From the point an idea pops into their engineers head to the finished product being shipped to you, it all happens in the cycling mecca of NorthWest Arkansas. The ALFA ALLROAD was ALLIED's first stab at a versatile high performance road bike with tire clearance up to 35mm. The bike is called the ALFA ALLROAD because the changes from their dedicated ALFA road bike and the ALLROAD are minimal -a slightly heavier and wider clearance fork and a 10mm longer chainstay to accommodate the bigger tires. That's it! For a very small and likely intangible weight penalty you're able to turn your tarmac triumph into a capable gravel grinder.
