Why We Love It
The Pivot Les Fat is a celebrity in the fat bike world, being one of the first to focus on bringing mountain bike performance to the winter platform. The Les Fat feels very similar to what you'd expect from a slightly slacked hardtail mountain bike, but with the added benefit of massive tires for superb snowy traction. You'll notice the welcomed narrower Q-Factor compared to most fat bikes. This allows you to pedal using the same muscles as the ones you're used to, rather than feeling foreign to pedaling a bike. Pivot also designs the Les Fat to ride well whether you decide to ride a 26" x 5.0" tire for the ultimate deep snow traction, 27.5", or 29"+. It's also easily accommodates suspension or rigid forks depending on your ride style as well as an internally routed dropper post if that's your style.
