It wasn’t the bicycle that I fell in love with, it was the culture surrounding the sport of cycling. The individual personality of each bike; the hours of conversations with your go-to riding partner; the coffee shop rituals; the sense of adventure you feel not knowing where today’s ride is headed; the sense of community you feel when embarking on a group ride and only knowing one other person there; Every ride, every experience, each one is unique.
It is this sense of community that sets the Loops rides in Denver apart. Loops is a Tuesday night bike ride through out central Denver. The ride covers approximately 15 to 20 miles and makes 3 to 4 stops along the way. Riders are encouraged to ride at their own pace, meet at the stops and be abide by the local traffic laws. Loops evolves with people coming and going, some hanging longer than others, some hammering their way through town… each ride is unique.
The Loops ride meets every Tuesday night at the Crema Coffee House (29th & Larimer). Come out and ride with us, make friends, and come prepared to have a genuinely rad time. You can log in at xrocksthespot the day of the ride to see the daily route. Hope to see you there!
